Nilsael is one of the four regions in the Unified Realm. It sold itself to King Janus because it was tired of armies raping its land for fodder every few years. It is bordered on the south by Cumbrael, and on the north by a range of high mountains. The Nilsaelins are a hardy, kind, hospitable people, but they fear the Dark above all things. It sent a contingent of soldiers to the war with the Alpiran Empire under Count Marven.
